Here are some illustrations I did for a children's educational iPad game. There was an extremely short turn around on this project and I wish I had more time to see where else I could take it. The look was supposed to be a traditional children's book style and here is the chosen direction in the end.

Illustrating and designing for kids is very interesting particularly when UX is involved. I noticed that colour choices are incredibly important and that some decisions you have to make aren't necessarily going to appeal to you. My son is a prime example, as he's more attracted to the books I think are ugly and garish, over the ones I think are beautiful.

Fun project and nice to be doing something to help kids learn.
